The Future Has Arrived.
Verner Panton (1926-1998) defined 60s Danish Design with his unconventional designs. His collapsible house was, well, collapsible just in case you needed to, you know, collapse it.
Of all his designs, his S Chair ascnded from mere unusual design to the permanent collection of MoMA and a favorite of design professionals worldwide.
Panton achieved what was, up to that point in time, unexplored manufacturing techniques. The S Chair was the first mass production chair that was created by a single mold injection process.
Sleek? Yes. Modern? Of course. The S Chair stands beautifully in any room with its seamless form and fluid design. Group them for a modern dining room or use it as a provoking accent chair.
